Was looking through some old numismatic books that I've picked up over the years and noticed something about the 1841 Seated Dime.
The 1954 Blue Book lists the following:
1841 .20c in Good, .35c in Fine
1841 No Drapery $10.00 in Good, $20.00 in Fine
The 1956 Blue Book lists the following:
1841 .25c in Good, .40c in Fine
1841 No Drapery $11.00 in Good, $22.50 in Fine
The 1973 Blue Book does not show two varieties for the 1841.
As late as the 23rd edition of the Red Book (1970), there is a listing for a No Drapery 1841 separately from the Drapery version.
It looks like between 1970 - 1973, it was decided that there wasn't a "No Drapery" 1841 after all.
Can someone educate me?
